First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the USA. Despite what you hear on the media, we have infinite places to find gratitude in our lives. I know that I am so, so grateful to all of you for your presence in my life and for the way you shine your light and love on the world.
It’s Eclipse Season
Many people I spoke with felt the intensity of the Full Moon lunar eclipse on November 19 for several days before and after. We are all awakening in our own way.
Unlike “regular” New Moons, which have more initiatory or beginning energy, the total solar eclipse on December 3/4 tells us that it is time to clean up – a spiritual housecleaning, if you will. We don’t have to carry those old, global wounds anymore like smelly boxes stored in the garage of our being. But how do we let go of something that feels so ingrained in our ancestry in order to make room for all of the light that wants to come in instead?

Learn how to maximize the energy of this and any total solar eclipse. This particular eclipse wants us to release old karma so that we can shine our light and radiance in the world. Sagittarius invites us to think outside the box, seek the truth within, and always have fun on the adventure.

I know it’s the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the USA – and if you’re like me, you’ll be ready to release some of that familiar discomfort that makes you want to pour yourself an extra glass of wine during family dinners. Ha.
Eclipses always magnify the energy of the moment, and this eclipse is even more potent because it happens at 12°22’ Sagittarius, within 1 minute of the ascendant of the US natal chart (12°21’ Sagittarius). I see big changes for the USA over the coming months, as old systems of debt and dependency crumble to make way for new ones based on love and sovereignty. The time in between the old and the new can be confusing and disorienting if we’re not prepared for it.
This New Moon total eclipse in Sagittarius asks us to prepare so that we are ready to teach, study, and communicate broadly, all with a big smile.
